This 1968 Yenko Camaro is believed to be the rarest of all '68
Yenkos. In an October 1992 Chevy Action Magazine article, this car
was featured as a one-of-a-kind, being the only known "drag
pack" car.
It has a special tag riveted on the driver door pillar: ORDER NO.
00798, SPECIAL DRAG CAR.
Kevin has the original invoice and Protecto-Plate which shows the
COPO "MV" motor code. He also has the GM factory engine
identification documents showing the 9737 COPO which incorporated
the "MV" code in 1968.
Furthermore, Kevin has the Chevrolet Engineering test order for
smog testing a 1968 Camaro equipped with an L72 engine for Yenko
Chevrolet.
